The COVID-19 antigen rapid test kit (swab) is a lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of
of nucleocapsid protein antigen in direct nasal swab or nasopharyngeal swab specimens from individuals
in whom the physician suspects COVID-19 within the first seven days of symptom.
The COVID-19 antigen rapid test kit (swab) does not differentiate between SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2.

The test procedure in 4 steps:
1) A swab is taken from the nose or nasopharynx by the healthcare professional.
2) The sample is dissolved in the extraction buffer by rotation. The test stick can then be removed.
3) Three drops of the sample to be tested are poured onto the sample receptacle provided.
4) The result can be read after 15 to 30 minutes.
Test result:
For a validated result, the control line "C" must form. The result is positive as soon as the test line "T" changes color. A negative result is present if no band forms for the test line.
